Used to be regulars until we left the area over a year ago. Menu is little changed and can still take your own drinks. Still very good quality food and service. Wife thinks it's the best garlic naan ever, standard size, can't comment on the family sized ones!!

We have ordered from here since they opened and have. Ever had a bad meal yet. We generally take away and have never been disappointed. After travelling miles for a decent Indian it's so nice to just be able to pop down the road. We love it here. Staff are so friendly and chatty

We like a good Indian restaurant and this is up there with the best, we had Akhtars recommended to us by a friend, I think he had been keeping it a secret from us. From the moment we walked through the door we were made to feel like regulars and friends.

We popped in on the spur of the moment and they were able to get us in (I was a bit surpised that it might have been a problem as it was all most empty at 530 on a Sunday afternoon ) but it soon filled up to capacity. The food was very good from the popadoms to starters and mains. On paying our bill we were pleased to find a great reduction in the price and were told that it was half price main meals all day Sunday and every Sunday. Will definitely be popping in again. Lovely friendly staff too.

We normally have takeaways from her which are always of a good standard . Visited Friday night for a family meal. Wonderful quality meal , service impeccable , good value . Restaurant is spotless too . Would highly recommend
